This is Covey last Sunday, wearing real church clothes for the first time! We just about died, he was so cute! All he needs is a belt and church shoes (and a little scripture case!)
This was how Covey spent his first Meldrum Memorial Day Picnic.
Today I've decided to get serious about getting Covey on a nap schedule in his crib, because my list of things to get done just keeps growing and growing and nothing ever gets crossed off. I've been waiting for his sleeping cues to regulate themselves, but I've just realized I've got to teach him when and how to go to sleep. The first nap went pretty good. After 25 minutes of crying and me going in to reassure him a couple times, he finally slept for 2 hours. He's taking his second one right now... it's not going quite as well. But, he'll get it and I can already tell he'll be a happier baby on a more consistent schedule.

Hey, Daddy Nelson here. Just wanted to chime in and say how much I love Covey's smile. He's such a cool kid, I love playing with him. Julia does a great job with him and with all the duties she takes on. Her list of to do's only grows because she's always looking for things to do for Covey and myself. My favorite thing about her is how she puts Covey first over everything else. What a mom!
I need to come see you guys. 3-4 month clothing! He is getting so big!! and I love the church clothes, the handsome little guy.
He has a great smile! Has he started to laugh yet? I can never remember when that starts.
What a cutie pie! He is just growin up too fast! I love his smile too, so precious!
Maybe using the same principles on Matt would help him achieve similar results. Did you ever find your lemon heaven super delicious delight ice cream? Only two words can describe the awesomeness of Covey. STUD BUCKET!
Ya he loves his baths again! He didnt like the smell of the Lavendar bath wash, haha I started using the regular Johnson and Johnson soap and he is back to just lovin bath time! I guess it makes sense haha I guess he thought he was too boyish for lavendar ;) I think Peid Piper is a wonderful nursery ryme and say it to kays every night hahahaha! We need to play tennis again!
Oh my you two!! He is so cute, love the way he fell asleep in sunglasses. Jackson hates them on his face, but loves them in his mouth! Looks like you guys are doing great, we are coming t visit in a week, it would be fun to see you!
