2 MONTHS!!

My Two Month Old Boy

Covey had his 2 month Dr. apt. today. I was super nervous for his shots... I don't know why, I know it's no big deal, but I've just been dreading it. And I ended up making it worse! I asked if he could get two of the shots simultaneously to make it faster, so they brought in this other nurse who ended up hitting a blood vessel! Oh, I felt so bad! It bled more than the other ones and they said it would bruise. I should have just let our regular nurse do it the way she normally does. He cried for a couple minutes but did really good about getting over it quick. But, I still got teary, I think because I made it worse bringing in that other nurse. But, anyway, the doctor said he's doing perfectly. He now weighs 11 pounds 9 ounces, which is the 47th percentile, and is 22.5 inches long, which is the 32nd percentile.

Here he is in the Doctor's office, waiting for those nasty shots. Look at that face. He has no idea what's coming.

P.S. He's sleeping so well in his crib! He sleeps in it all night, waking up twice to eat during the night. And his smiles are steadily increasing!

Well, we're off on our roadie. And Covey's ready to go on his first vacation. In fact, when we told him we're leaving today, he struck this pose and said "Here we come Seatown! Can I get a what what in the 206?"
