This past Saturday, my Mom, sister, and sister-in-law threw me a family shower for the Horspools and Meldrums. They went to so much work to make it nice and I can't thank them enough!

This is my mom and sister-in-law, Stacey, putting the finishing touches on the food.

This is the incredibly cute diaper cake my mom made me. I was so impressed with all the details. She even did all the decorations in the colors of his room! I hated taking this apart when I got home.

Present time!

My brother thinks he's pretty darn funny. Even though he and Stacey went in on a big gift for me, they couldn't resist giving me this present, too. Along with a super cute sweater and polo from Old Navy, they found two t-shirts, one that says "grilled cheese" and one that says "big cheeze". ...Say What? That's right. Because he calls me "Cheese", like "Cheese Head" ... I think it implies I'm soft in the head, or something. Brothers. But it was pretty dang funny and I can't believe they found those!

YAY! What a cute bouncy seat!

Wow! Is my head tiny?
After the shower, I had to hurry back to our Ward Sweetheart Dance. (Matt and I are on the activities committee.... fyi, we were in charge of punch.) It was semi-fun. At the beginning we learned the basic steps to the swing, waltz, and cha-cha. I liked learning that and trying it out during the dance, even though it made my back ache.

This is my kooky husband doing the Hokey Pokey. I refused, along with the Chicken Dance, Electric Slide, and other songs that shouldn't be played at an adult dance. But, Matt got right up there and "shook it all about". Good for you, Baby!
These pics also show some of our new friends. The Porters are on his left and the Thornes are on his right. We get together with them and the Maynes and Larsons once a month to have FHE/game night. It is so nice having friends in the ward! It makes such a difference. I don't know if we'll be able to keep going once Covey comes, but I sure hope so cause it's a blast.
Today, the girls at work had a shower for me. We ordered lunch from Iggy's and they had this set up in our Lending training room. It was really sweet of them and I am so grateful for all these people who are willing to go to all this work for us.

I only have 8 days of work left! After working for America First for 5 years, it just seems so crazy that I'm FINALLY done. But, the weirdest part is that I'll be working so much harder after I quit than I do now. Instead of sitting in front of a computer all day, everyday and only having to stand in front of a class to teach about 2 hours a week, I'll be go-go-going as a mom. I can't wait really. It's going to be so different. It's hard to wrap my head around.
