Dropped the Blog

Hey, it's Matt.
I know I don't normally get into this blog thing, but I needed a place to vent. As many of you have probably heard a hero fell from grace recently, a hero that was close to my heart, a hero that infused me with a sense of patriotism that I hadn't felt since watching the motion picture, The Patriot. Yes, young Michael Phelps captured our attention and imagination this summer during the Olympics, but now those fond memories have been splashed in the face and held under the water in a headlock until water has gotten into their noses. Just another reminder that when you put someone up on a pedestal, they will eventually get off of that pedestal and go hang out with his friends Mary and Juana. Sickening.
I prefer to remember Mr. Phelps the way he presented himself in this inspiring interview he did with Jimmy Kimmel last fall. Enjoy. Be advised, stop watching at the 8 minute mark.

And with this I close this chapter in my life. Goodbye Michael. (sigh) There I said it.

Matt you are too funny! I too totally agree with you! Its too bad. You think your kids have some great sports role models....and then they go and do that! ANd his sponsors aren't even going to drop him! Oh well! It is a bummer though! It seems like it happens to everyone!

Hmmm good question..prob when I get home cuz then I wont be all gross haha! But ya we did get to see a quick ultrasound, but she kinda just checked to see if he was head down checked the fluid and then stopped so we didnt really get to see him see him. Sad day o well I guess well get to see him soon! But ya I didnt really feel him drop he just all of a sudden was down lower and there was more pressure when I walk. Maybe you will actually feel him drop though..I bet you start dropping in the next couple weeks..Im so excited that we are having them so close together that will be so fun!

Yep, it seems like the good ones always fall at one time or another-maybe too much of a good thing?? I think it is kinda creepy how he can bend his foot all the way around....whatever right?? Julia-you look beautiful pregnant, as always. I can't wait to see that baby!! Love the pics!

By the way, Matt... heard Kellogg's dropped Phelps as a sponsor. So, someone out there has their head on straight. I know my patronage will increase due to their good moral standing.
