It's the Final Countdown

Saturday was a big day! I had two baby showers and started my sewing project with my mom to create Covey's nursery.



First, we had a baby shower with Matt's family, hosted by our sister-in-law Lindsey, in Tremonton. They recently built on something like 1600 square feet onto the back of their house and it looks so great. They had yummy food and everyone gave me some baby advice on scrapbook pages. I got clothes, blankets, toiletries, and a Pack N Play. Thank you so much everyone!

Then, that night, I met my girlfriends from High School at our traditional hangout (Riverdale Chili's). It was so much fun and I really appreciated them coming, because I hardly ever see them anymore.

Me and Lee... she planned this all for me and bought my dinner! I love her!


After dinner, we went to Lee's house for dessert and presents. I asked Lee to make me a little paper "Amanda" (our friend in Las Vegas) so we could pretend like she was there with us. It turned out exactly like her!

They got me the cutest presents! ...outfits, onesies, PJs, a book, baby wash and lotion, and a diaper changing pad. Thank you so much, girls!

Before the showers, I spent the day at my mom's house making Covey's curtains. They turned out so great... I love them! Next on the docket... bedskirt, sheets, bumper, and quilt.
