February is a little foggy... it was so long ago. But I remember lots of hearts, crafts and silliness.
Papa Mike joined us for the Superbowl, but the pictures were a little pooey.
On a Saturday, Covey came up with his own plan to invite Miss Elle over to make valentines. They had so much fun making cards for each other and their moms... and I was tickled when this sweet little lovely even made a valentine for me!
Then, it was playtime. This game involved plush Angry Birds and hiding under the kitchen sink.
Valentine's Day!!
Heart pancakes whose pinkness only worked on the inside. :/
Time for surprises and goodies!
Oh, that Finn would not give me a smile for anything!
But, who wouldn't cheer up with the help of a Reeses Egg??
Reading their cards.
Opening new Valentine's books.
Surprise visit from Gwyn, who brought valentines to these two boys who love her, her house, her toys, her dogs.. They're a bit obsessed.
Dad's home and had special cards for all of us with hand drawn pictures.
All our valentines on display!
There's a lot of love to share when you have such amazing people in your life!
Father-son project: homemade Wall-E!
Oh my!
Showin' off this rocking' bod in his new tight jammies.
There's something about headbands. I'm not sure what it is...
...but apparently they make you stroooooong!
Even strong enough to do thiiiiis. Ah yeeeah.
Just having a good laugh over a snack of apples and cookies.
We made a MUCH needed improvement to the house by getting the huge desk out of the dining room and replacing our crappy desktop with a MacBook. We let Covey check out and play with the circuit board from the desktop before he and Matt took it outside and smashed it with hammers.
He thought it looked like a little city and tried to figure out what the different buildings would be.
Ohhh, just wait for March. March was OH SO NICE.
