Eve and Wall E out of Legos. :) (That face!)
His first father's blessing for the "school year".
Even though Covey would normally start Kindergarten next year, I decided he was more than ready for Kindergarten curriculum now. So, whether this is just a mock school year or a real one, we decided to give it a go.
I thought I had failed when I quit the traditional at-the-desk and cover-all-the-subjects after a month. But, I've decided we're still succeeding. He's reading me a chapter from reading level 2 chapter books every day with very little help and I think he'll be ready for Challenger's Kindergarten summer program this year (for students who have completed Kindergarten). That's the goal, anyway.
So cute at soccer games. Just waiting for his chance to...
get on the field and score some goals!
Dad took me on a date to the Conference Center to see James Taylor in concert. It was so much fun!
Playing football with dad. Finn LOVES sports!
Reading together...
Eating together...
Wrestling together...
These best buds spend day in and day out together, making each other happy.
Gotta remember this face he gives us!
And Finn's "Sniper!" pout.
This reminded me of the same kind of picture I have of me when I was little and wanted to compare them. The differences make me laugh. :)
One day, the boys and I decided to make a homemade kite and tried to fly it in the front yard.
It didn't work too well.
Elle's birthday part-ay! (It looks as though Covey gave her that awesome Little Mermaid doll. He didn't. He made her that necklace she's wearing. :) I can't help myself from thinking what a cute couple they make!
He chose to miss a soccer game in order to go to this party. He loved it!
