November 2013

This year, Covey got to go to a lot of Aggie games with Matt. He loves the band and the cheers.

When he gets bored, he busies himself rummaging in the nearby muck.

Finn loves having our little friend, Jace, spend a little time with us every other Wednesday morning. He especially loves his sports balls blanket. A little bit of blanket envy never hurt a friendship.

The boys found this very beat up baby doll at the park and brought it home one day. (It was missing a hand and foot. :)

Early in November, we had a Friend Thanksgiving at the church.

"Brittany! Forks go on the left!"

Kayson, Covey and Ben. Look how big they are now!

The big brothers and the little brothers.

And throw in a little Jace. :)

We decided to take the boys up to the zoo one evening, only to find out they close the gates much earlier than we thought. Plan B was the DinoLand at City Creek.

Matt let me have the car the next day to make good on our zoo promise.

I only had one punch left on our carousel pass, so Covey hopped on by himself for the first time.

Everytime he made his way around to us, he was waving and yelling, "Mommy! This is the first time I've done this by MYSELF!"

The first week of November, Matt and I were both called into the YM and YW presidencies.
Here the boys are experiencing their first Mutual. :)

Covey wanted some friends over one day, and we were lucky to get Cambria, Madi, and Elle over.
They came up with a great game of "Doctor" where they dressed up in Matt's scrubs and took turns taking care of each other and prescribing Smarties.

Finn turned 18 months and went to his first official day of Nursery!
He does awesome and doesn't care at all when we leave.
His teachers say he's so laid back and easy. :)

 Free day at Discovery Gateway!
Finn's first time!

Yay for cousins who helped me keep track of them!

Covey's been asking to go back ever since.
(He'll sure be excited to open Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas present! ;)

THANKSGIVING

First, a visit with Dad and Grandma Meldrum at Uncle Mark's church.
Look how me and Grandma have the same thing goin' on and Finn and my dad have the same thing goin' on... we must be family!

Then, to Mantua to spend time and eat with Matt's family.

Lots of time to shoot hoops with Daddy.

And running around with cousins for Covey.

Who else can Finn get to play ball with him?
Jarom?

Gideon?

Waiting patiently for their version of a Thanksgiving feast, which consisted of rolls. :/

Aunt Emily planned a game of Noodle Hockey which the adults got really into.
Covey preferred playing school with some cousins in a classroom, but Finn stood right out in the chaos and helped his team by smacking his noodle on the ground as hard as he could.

Time to put the tree up!
The boys like hanging their own ornaments wherever they want.

On our way to our nephew, Jarom's baptism in Bear River.

Playing soccer in the big boys' room.

Buck, Jensen, and Covey
Then it was Matt and Covey headed off to an Aggie football game while Finn and I went to Riverdale to watch Ella and Lucie. Later, we switched and Finn went with Matt to a basketball game and Covey came with me to the annual Ogden Christmas Parade and Soup'N'Scones at Grandma's house.

Getting a hug from Waldo!

"It's SANTA!!! Over here, Santa!!"

November was busy busy but fun! And December was both of those times 10...

First off I'm impressed that it's OK for the boys to play in muck and tend to dirty baby dolls!! Next thing you know, you'll be in the McDonalds playland. Love the kid Thanksgiving and the group of big boys and little boys. So cute! You have a darling life. Love you guys so much!
