Last soccer game of the season!
Coach Todd made awards for each player for something they were known for during the spring and fall seasons. Covey got "Most Fearless" for his desire to rush into a pack of kids and get a little physical. :)
Grandpa and Grandma Nelson came to watch!
A super nice mom gave these to the coaches!
I took my camera to the park one day because I was worried their handsomeness wasn't being documented enough.
Enough documentation of handsomeness? I suppose.
Finn trying to look like Dad.
Loving his blanket that he calls "Mack"...
...and his Mickey.
Our first attempt at gardening! Matt and Covey smashed two pumpkins off of our neighbors balcony last year for fun. Those little pumpkin seeds found their way into the ground and tried hard to produce for us this year. This was all that would come of them. Still! Something to paint.
Trying some relaxation exercises before bed. :)
Imitating the superhero episode of Mickey Mouse they're watching.
For Grandma Lori's birthday, we met at Brock's soccer game and saw a cute Halloween puppet show at the library. Then we picked out some pumpkins at the store and took them to Aunt Katie's for carving.
Matt forcing Finn to smell the pumpkins! Yuck.
Singing "Happy Birthday"!
This day was so much fun!
Nature walk in Mueller Park.
What Matt's doing here says it all about how he felt during this exploration. He was constantly keeping Finn from walking off cliffs and into the river.
Covey collected different kinds of leaves and interesting things to make an Autumn nature board at home.
HALLOWEEN
Trying to give me an "Evil Minion" face.
That one's better.
In Mantua, for a family Halloween party.
Matt says we were "Downtown Abbey". My sis in law said we could have been the witch and wizard from Oz. I say we are slowly working our way to me wearing a hoopskirt someday. :)
He cracks me up!
Kade and Emily looked awesome!
Finn was a sour pus and wouldn't be set down the whole time.
Giving Shaylee the eye.
Uncle Adam provided some awesome games.
Grayeyard Ring Toss
Launch the frogs into the Cauldrons
Bean Bag Toss
And Spider Fishing.
One night, the boys put together a surprise for me. When I came downstairs, they'd bought Monsters University and made the living room into a movie theater. This was my handsome ticket taker. :)
Halloween morning. Donuts in the living room and Elmo's Halloween Special on DVD.
All ready for Covey and Finn's friend party!
Matt had to work late and I had to get the boys ready and out the door trick or treating without him. Finn was sick of his ears and wanted to wear Daddy's hat instead. :)
We ran into Miss Elle outside just like last year!
Finn missed a whole street of houses because I couldn't pull him away from this basketball hoop. :)
Back home to switch Dad out.
Covey's loot!
Super fun Halloween this year! I can't wait for next year when Finn will make it even more fun!
