When asked what his favorite thing about Sunday is in Primary, Covey drew this picture of "Grandma giving me cookies". Now, he draws people like crazy, but just two short months ago, this was very exciting for us. I especially liked how grandma is leaning over him. :)
Finn's first iPod experience.
One day, I looked in the backyard to see this... maxin' and relaxin' father-son style.
Covey took this picture at our Temple Square picnic.
Finn was kind enough to bring a snack to share.
Covey, as usual, didn't like the food cause it wasn't:
A) peanut butter B) yogurt C) cereal, or D) anything from the junk food group.
Finn's first "All Over" haircut.
This is the before.
The after.
Finn was so proud of his new accomplishment.
6 more inches and he can do the dishes!
Finn loves to play with these magnets on the fridge.
And by "play" I mean putting the magnets in the cupboard behind his right shoulder.
Too much rock and roll I guess.
Covey fell off his chair (actually almost a daily occurrence) and hit his chin on the table.
This picture doesn't capture how deep the bite wound was.
Covey spent the rest of the day with his fingers in his mouth, even through soccer practice.
Finn using a spoon for the first time.
The last Nelson (Aunt Deb) has graduated high school.
"Oh sing me a song of Box Elder, her colors are purple and white."
One day Covey decided to be the Dad for the entire day. Of course if you're going to be the Dad, then Covey insisted on wearing Dad clothes.
Finn breathes a sigh of relief as Covey Dad failed to notice the mess he'd made in the kitchen.
Covey Dad hates it when he makes messes.
Covey Dad "doing his homework". Sadly, this is something he thinks all dads do.

I think Covey Dad is just a plea for another "these are not my pants" video. Love Finn with the headphones. You're right, the boy does not tolerate rock and roll. Sometimes it even makes him throw up. Next time we'll go see the Motab.
