 Imagine some trumpets playing.
And a snappy drum cadence.

Did you do it? 'Cause this news deserves a big fanfare.

We're having another boy!!!

Yay! We are so stinkin excited! I'm 15 weeks pregnant and we found out on Friday that it is 99% for sure a boy. This is us in the doctor's office right after we found out. (Don't look too closely at the ultrasound pic.)

I did have to adjust my thought processes a bit because for some reason I felt for sure it was a girl. But this is much better and I'm so excited for Covey to have a best friend for life.
That night, I told my friends at our book club party and it was so amazing. There were some screams and hugs and their excitement felt so good. It's especially crazy in this group becuase there's three of us who were pregnant with our firsts at the same time and they were all boys. Now they've had their second and they were both boys and now mine is, too! It's so weird! (and awesome)

Saturday morning when Covey saw just the inch of snow outside he wanted to build a snowman. I told him he couldn't because you need a lot more snow for that. But Matt, the awesome dad that he is, thinks outside the box. He got him bundled up and outside to build this adorable mini Frosty.

It was extra good to have Covey engaged outside because I had cookies all over the kitchen and it was driving him to madness! We took these blue onesie cookies to some of our family to make the announcement. It was extra fun to make our pregnancy announcement along with what the baby is.

First we went to Tremonton to tell Matt's parents and brother Jason and to see their new baby boy, Gideon. He was so so tiny and wonderful. And of course holding him made me even more excited.

Next was my mom.

Then dad.

Then sister. (Katie, don't be mad, you still look beautiful.)

It was such a big day that Covey fell asleep in the car. He NEVER does that. Covey seems excited for the baby but who know what he really understands about it. But I do know that he's going to be a great big brother. Yay for Boys!

You might have exaggerated a bit when you said one of the cheek pictures "turned out." Oh my. Holy cow I'm so excited for you guys. It's going to be so awesome. There were two items of business I regret not bringing up when I saw you: 1) your hair looked awesome. Did you get a new flat iron? 2) How was Halloween? Did you go to the UP house? Congrats again! Love you!
