"Heavenly Father...this day...thank food...Faye...get better..." I think he got distracted from saying Amen by our little squeals of delight.
Pretty awesome, right? We were impressed!
The other bit that made our day was seeing Covey in little boxer briefs! I forgot to switch his laundry to the dryer so at bedtime he didn't have any bottoms to wear for pajamas. So Matt got out a pair of his "big boy underwear" that is yet to see any action. He was wearing it over his diaper but they were so dang cute we just sat there giggling as we watched him in them! I'd like to start seeing him in those bad boys more often but he hasn't shown any interest in going potty. When he hears the toilet flush he waves and says "bye bye peepee!" And sometimes he tells me he needs a diaper change... but that's the extent of it. Does anyone have any advice on how to get your child interested? I know I need to borrow the Elmo video and try that out, but is there anything else I can do?

Too cute! As for potty training, I would wait to try until he wakes up dry. I feel like that is when they are really ready to try.
I always heard people say to let boys pee on cheerios as target practice. I don't think we ever tried it but maybe it would be like a fun game for him.
They have a lot of potty training videos at the library.
