Another awesome present came from my sister, Katie, who gave me back the stepper that used to be mine in HS and a recorded step workout with her as the instructor! An "Exclusive At-Home Workout designed for 26 year-olds" she called it. It was totally awesome, from the crazy-named moves I had no idea how to do, to my niece, Ella, mimicking the moves and telling me "Two More!" It was so much fun... and really hard! I love that wacky Katie (wacky meaning creative and funny, of course). What a great sister to go to all that trouble for me. (And her husband for standing there with the camera for a half hour.) I tried to get some clips on here for you, but it just wouldn't work. Darn it all to heck.
My parents each gave me a bike, one for me and Matt. Thank you! I just ordered a bike seat for Covey and can't wait to go on rides with him! We went on a test spin on the Larson's on Sunday and loved it. Especially how my heart would burst from pride as Covey, with his gigantic mushroom helmet head, would wave at all the cars that went by! Sigh. That definitely redeemed his Church screaming from earlier that day.
Matt's parents gave me a way cute picture book to read to Covey...And Nick and Stace sent me the best card with a picture of "Ghost Mitchell" drawn by Faye and a picture and perfume magazine sample from Mitchell- so Funny!
And thanks to facebook, I got tons of "Happy Birthdays" from people I wouldn't normally have heard from, "So I guess you could say it's gettin' pretty serious." (Kip's voice)

Covey getting manhandled by his cousins' love. He took it right in stride, though. He LOVES being with kids. When I hold his hand to lead him to the park, he can't stand it, but when Ella holds his hand, he'll follow her anywhere!

What a fun birthday! How is that camera?? It looks like good picture quality! Did you do any editing to make the colors stand out more or is that just standard in a good camera??

Dang. Your pictures look awesome. So yeah it is getting pretty serious around here. Your backyard looks super good. Glad you liked your workout. I'll have to start thinking about what workout would be best for a 27 year old and I guess you'll have to wait a year to get your next one.

I am so excited that you got that camera, you are going to love it. I love your pictures already. If you ever need any help at all let a sister know. and last but not least: that Covey, man he is one smokin cute baby. Wow! If my girls caught a glimpse of this computer screen they would be hooked. Oh and your backyard is spectacular! Is that the old man's handy work?
Katie is hilarious. BTW (yes mom has taught me a few texting short cuts) did you hear about what Kaitlin said about mom at school lunch? If not, inquire!
