Lucky Number Seven

On May Seventh, Seven years ago,
I married a Prince Charming, my own hero.
He had swept me up in a whirl of tales
Of how he was Quarterback and the Alpha Male.
I laughed at everything he did and said,
We dumpster dove to get free bread.
This "mysterious, older man" won my heart,
Exactly from the flirtatious start.
These Seven years have flown so fast,
But are the Most Treasured of my past.

In "Satan's Gorge", I missed you too much,
While out on my own selling videos and such.
I'd come and find you and you'd let me stay,
Though against the rules and less mon-ay.

In Ogden, we tried the same job and classes,
Some were failures and some were passes.
I remember we went to Weber's gym a lot,
And watched a movie on the roof and got caught.

In Brigham City, we lived next door
To the house you were born in, right on the floor. :)
We ate all those yogurts and went on walks,
The cemetery was one of my favorite spots.
You'd get spooked, so you wouldn't go.
But showed me all the lawns you mowed.

In South Salt Lake, we could have died,
But, me and you found kites to fly... well, we tried.
That romantic date will live on forever,
A Dress, The Roof, a Ballet- so Clever!
Even so, Let's not dwell on that place much more,
Because it's Here we've found much to adore.

We're happier now than we've ever been!
You gave me a Son to mother, a house to live in.
You take me to the temple. You work hard.
You're not giving up on this PA garb.

For giving me a chance way back when.
I wouldn't be happier with anyone else,
