Happy Valentine's Day

Hey, it's Matt.
My friend Mark Olsen (who also has a blog) had a great idea, and like many times before I decided to borrow it a little. You see Mark made a blog post/Valentine for his wife and girls and it inspired me to do one of my own. Our budget isn't exactly allowing us to spend anything this year on each other, so my original idea had to be shelved for a while. So that puts me where I am now. Of course, I should add that it's 11:30 pm February 13th, which as Julia said when I told I had to work on her Valetine, "it's a little late don't you think."

Well you know what, I do think it's a little late. It's a lot late actually. But gosh darn it I've got things to say and I'm gonna say them. So this is for you Julia!

Ahhh, look at us. Young, naive, full of hopes and dreams. We may not have had a clue what the future held, but that didn't seem to bother either of us. You were the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen that day when you walked into the lobby of the Salt Lake Temple. I couldn't believe you were going to go through with it. I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop out and say, "you've been X'd punk!". But no, you came, and moments later we found ourselves talking in the celestial room, then before we knew it we were married and sealed for time and all eternity.

Oh yes! Eternity Baby!! Through the good and bad.

Whether we're in sunny California.

Or freezing our butts off in Yellowstone.

Or just making funny faces cause we're bored at a family Christmas party.

Happy Valentine's Day Jules!!! You're a great mother and an even better wife. Thanks for making me laugh, for challenging me, supporting me, taking care of me, and loving me. I'm looking forward to eternity with you. I love you. Matt
