Happy Hallow's Eve

Trick or Treat, Trick or Treat,
Trick or Treat for Halloween.

When a ghost or goblin's at your door,

you better not be stingy or,

your nightmares will come true-oooooOOOOOoooo!!!

So Covey had his first Halloween, and we had the chance to enjoy it with all the grandparents. We spent the night at Grandpa Meldrum's house, then scurried up to Mantua to see the Grand-Nelsons, and finally finished the day at Grandma Lori's for a Spooky Boo-ffet. It was a lot of traveling, but Covey was a trooper and we enjoyed ourselves.

Friday I went to work as the lunch lady. Covey was a bit confused at first to say the least, but soon warmed up to my motherly nature. (And look! His hair looks like the same color as the wig's!)

Julia did a great job on Covey's Owl costume. Please watch the video at the bottom of the post for more views of Julia's handiwork.

All Hallow's Eve....uh...eve, at Grandpa Meldrum's. Covey stayed up way past his bedtime. He was so excited to not eat candy the next day I guess. Thanks for the room and board Mike!!

This pic is for the Olsens, looks like Sadie's not the only one who can pull off the tights look.

Covey got some new clothes from Grandma Lori instead of candy. Thank you so much Lori, Covey loves the new duds.

That may be my favorite video yet. I am still laughing. Crime doesn't stand a chance. Glad you guys had fun. Maybe that's why he stayed up so late at grandpa's house. The power of the owl overcame him.

Oh dear me, Matt's costume is genius and Covey wow! Way to go Julia that is awesome. I am very impressed at your skills. As for the video Sadie is asking me to play it again she wants more owl song. She was a little scared at first but now it may be her new favorite video. LOVE the tights only Covey and Sadie could pull off such fierce style.

Hey guys suh-weeet. Matt I am always inspired by you to carry on great redskin traditions such as filmography. I accept this as a challenge to create a movie of equal awesomeness. Also, seeing Covey brought be back to our old Aquabat days... you guys are hilarious.

I think owl boy needs a side kick--super lunch lady!! That would be a killer duo. I can't seem to keep Grandma's awesome-funny costume tradition going so you guys have to. Next year Julia's got to get her groove back. Loved the video and the costume.
