I was going to wait for Covey's 6 month b-day to give him his first taste of vegetables, but we had a stressful day on Friday, finding out Matt's car is kaput. So, I thought we all needed a pick-me-up and giving Covey a shot at veggies sounded like fun... And it was! First on the menu: Carrots. It was a success, he loved them!

I was so depressed today without you and Nick that I might need a shot of carrots myself. Enjoy it while they'll eat them straight up. I've had to resort to purreed beets in chocolate muffins.
wait till you try him on the peas...they never seemed to go over very well. Although I think Nick seemed to really like them.
