At Uncle Rex's surprise 50th Birthday party. Thank goodness his cousin Camree never held him while we were there. We found out later that she has the swine flu. That makes 2 people now that I know personally who has had it. I'm interested in knowing how many people you all know that have gotten it...?
At the State Fair. Thanks for the tickets, Larsons!! (Cov doesn't seem too happy that he was the pig.) The coolest thing we saw were the scooter-riding, somersaulting bears. They were quite the spectacle! And lesson learned: Bears aren't scary. They're adorable, as long as you have a bottle of honey.
Matt's sister, Shawna, was in town from Chicago for a visit. Covey really liked her. At the end of the night, it was past his bedtime, so he was understandably cranky and for the life of us we couldn't get him to stop crying. So we decided to leave and Shawna came over to say goodbye and he just stopped and even smiled at her! Good job, Shawna!
Tuesday was such a cool day outside, we spent a lot of time out there. Covey loved it.
Yesterday, I had Cov on my lap at the computer when his diaper failed to do its job. There was no way we were making it upstairs to the tub but we did get to the kitchen sink. And fancy that, he loved it in there! Which was good because it gave us a place to give him his first haircut later that night.
