Finn's First Birthday

This is Matt's mom's mom, Grandma Mimi. She recently moved to Utah to live with Matt's parents and Finn and Covey are big fans, as you can see! Covey was especially sweet on her. :)

For Finn's birthday, we took him to Kangaroo Zoo. We knew he'd love bouncing and rolling around on all the inflatables!

  Opening presents!

He got the bows off! And that's about it.

A  couple days later, we had Finn's party. The theme was Oh! The places he'll go!

This game was for the big kids to see where they'll go someday.

Covey's off to Europe someday!

Opening presents. Finn was SO good about keeping his hat on! (He was a perfect angel the whole time, in fact!)

 The last present we brought in was his splash table. It got a big reaction! And all the kids ran right over to it, including Finn!

He made a nice dent... and then he was done. :)

I have to give him a drink while he plays with the splash table or he guzzles all the water, dead bugs, dirt and all!

And yesterday, Finn took his first steps!! Yay! We're so excited to see him tottering around.

At his 1 year check up, Finn was 22 lbs (36%) and 31" long (84%).
Covey had his 4 year old check up and was a perfect square! 42 lbs and 42" tall! His percentiles were 86 for weight and 78 for height. He also got his last shots he'll need until he's 12! He was very brave and only cried for 2 seconds.
