Okay, does his smile not have something extra that makes it ridiculously cute? I don't know what it is... his eye shape maybe. But, My Goodness!
Finn's first trip to the ZOO. (It wasn't raining.)
Part of "RockyShores", the new part of the zoo with bald eagles, river otters, seals and sea lions, the polar bear and 2 brown bears.
Covey could have watched the river otters forever. And that's the only animal he'll look at for any length of time. (Unless the polar bear is playing his game of swimming up to the glass, shooting out of the water and floating away on his back. Which he did for like 20 minutes while Covey led the other kids in a scream fest whenever he shot up.)
Dad doing a good job entertaining the babe.
Covey, you gotta little... right there... you got it.
Ohhhh... that smile just melts me.
Yay! Amanda's in town! Visiting from Vegas, she got to meet Finn and of course, thought he was the best looking baby she's ever seen.
Me, Sue with her Claire, Covey, Raechel with her Lanaya, Amanda and her girls, Madison and Molly and just barely making the cut in his car seat, Finn.
"Fishing" with Molly.
I really hope they get married some day so we can put these pics in their wedding video. Doesn't she look so happy to get that hug?
Finn is amazed at Grandma Lemon's intricate stitching.
Covey earned his Alphabet Crown on the second to last day of preschool. I told him I'd make him a cake when he got it aaaand he remembered. So, here he is celebrating. He seriously loves to recite his letters and their sounds. I hear him doing it all the time. He made some really awesome progress in these last 6 weeks.
His name is on the wall with previous Alphabet Crown recipients.
He is really going to miss these two. His teachers, Miss Makenzie and Miss Kami. ...Or "Miss Makambi" as he often called out in class.
I love how he's looking at Kami right here. He really loves her.

Seeing old friends, going to the zoo, enjoying your kids smiles and alphabet sounds. Simple and meaningful pleasures! Love it! p.s. I love my necklace. Someone asked me where I got it yesterday. I was like 'my sister got it for me' and she's all 'awww.'
So I am pretty sure that I know both of Covey's teachers. Makenzie is one of our friends little sister, and Kami and I were in the same FHE family down at BYU-I. What a small world!
Those are two fine looking gentlemen you've got there. I'm talking about the children. Sorry Matt, you just don't do it for me. Love the crazy eyes picture of Finnegan!
