First Dentist Visit
Yesterday we took Covey for his first visit to the dentist. We saw Dr. Colleen Taylor in Bountiful because we got so many recommendations for her on Facebook. It was a funny little place and I don't think the hygenist had much practice with really little kids but Dr. Taylor seemed really nice.
First came the X-rays. He tried to hold so still and kept biting down on that plastic thing even though he had no idea why he had to do it. The first time she tried to take it he said a muffled "Cheese" while still biting down. It took a couple of tries but they got it.
Then to the exam chair for his cleaning.
The room was just open with 3 chairs and a teenager was next to Covey getting drilled on. Covey kept looking at him and trying to ask what was going on with that guy?

Brushing his teeth with that vibrate-y drill brush. She used frosting flavored toothpaste. Even though his face is all scrunched up he kept his mouth open for her and didn't make a sound.

He looks so grown up sitting in that chair. Glad it was a positive experience for him...Way to go Covey!!!
Mom stole my comment. He does look super grown up. Glad things went well!!
Ha ha! "CHEESE!" That is awesome. We might steal that little gem of a comment for our next dentist x-rays.
