February and a little March 2012

TUBING! So much fun! This cute dog came over to say "Hi" to Covey. When he got to the bottom of the hill, he'd let himself fall forward out of the tube and start feasting on snow until Matt got him back up to the top.

We had an FHE on Noah's Ark and rainbows one night and discovered Covey MUCH prefers painting to coloring. This is his "TaDa!"
We installed this backsplash in the kitchen. It was quite the project and I wasn't sure that I loved it when it was done. Now all I can think is that we need to get white countertops...!
Covey turned 3!! He woke up to "Muffet" balloons in his room. And decorations downstairs with Birthday Pancakes (chocolate chip) waiting. His party was a blast... but my awesome mom took all the pics of that for me, so I'll get those up when I get them from her.
The day after, Papa Mike came over to celebrate.

He got some pretty neat gifts from him, but his favorite is this pirate getup.

On Monday, he had his 3 year check up at the doctor. It was the cutest thing ever! He stood on the big scale and stood still to get measured. He's in the 81%ile for both weight and height and the Dr commented that he has a "very good build". (Let's hope that's to stay!) He sat very still for his first ever blood pressure check with the cuff. Then had to put on a little hospital gown and get his reflexes checked (his face was priceless). He answered her questions about who's a boy and who's a girl and his colors (said Dad's navy blue shirt was brown, woops!) and about his baby brother coming.
Today we went on a little tour of Challenger School in Farmington where we're going to enroll Covey in their 6 week preschool summer program. I am so excited for him! He wanted to go in the class so bad and didn't want to leave. It's the cutest little school I've ever seen. I'd LOVE to be able to put him in the real preschool there in the Fall but it does cost a lot of money and Matt will need our only car in the fall to do his clinical rotations. But, hopefully next year!
Showing us his backpack. (see the cute little bell on the roof?)
