This is how Covey likes to sit and relax while he eats.

Covey learning to fold his arms for prayer.
(One time he said "Amen"- I swear! Matt and I looked at each other like, "NO WAY!" But he hasn't done it again.)

Covey and Grandpa, posing for a shot before ushering kids to safety.
Covey's first real movie!
We decided to test it out and see if he would sit through one, so we saw the newest Chipmunk movie at the dollar show and he made it through the whole thing from Dad's lap and was so good! He watched the screen and munched on popcorn and smores goldfish and crystal light.
The buds. Always doing whatever the other one's doing.
Covey can now start the dishwasher, turn on the garbage disposal (it's under our sink), and walks very steadily. And the coolest news is that last night, he said "BANANA"! Three different times! It was awesome. I hope he keeps saying it and it's not like "Buhbye" and "Amen" that only happened once. The only words he uses consistently right now are "mama" "ball" and "boat" (which only refers to a certain puzzle piece, not all boats).
There's some juicy tid bits to get you by. We're off to St George for the weekend, so we'll have some good pics of that soon, hopefully. Don't worry, not in our swimsuits... although Matt has gotten so in shape, he may want to slip one of himself in there (unless he's too busy flexing in the mirror).
JUST KIDDING!! Really, just kidding. He doesn't do that. But, he is looking really good!

Whenever I see Covey posts, I always come away thinking, "Jackson should be able to do that now also". So, thanks for keeping me up to date with what 1-year-old's can do. I'm sure if it wasn't for you, Jackson would still be flat on his back rolling from side to side;)
I am loving the foot on the table, he is just chillin'.
So cute! I love to see new things about Covey! He is getting bigger and cuter everytime I see pictures! Funny that Covey is the one Grandkid that actually likes Thomas not that that others dont, its just Covey isnt ever afraid! He must have a special bond with that dog!
Picture 1: Did he pick that up form you or Matt?
Picture 2: The benefits of that pose are many (praying, a great look for the finishing frame of his hip hop music video, and when is asked to complete a task he can tap his chest like that and say "I got this mom, I got this".
Picture 3: Those new kicks are killer!
Picture 4: I am pretty sure Covey is trying to decide what article of clothing is working best for grandpa, hat or vest.?
Picture 5: Congratulations to the both of you. A crowning achievement for children and parents alike! I expect him to join us in for Toy Story 3 this summer.
Picture 6: Covey can rock that conservative 'do' like nobody's business.
Wow after reading Nick's comment I'm not sure what I should say. He pretty much covered all the bases, but those are some dang cute pictures and tricks.
