Covey's New Tricks

Sporting Kayson's hats

He can drink from his sippy cup by himself!

In his favorite hangout. We call it 'Fort Cove'.

Pulling himself up to standing is his favorite thing to do at the moment.

Just a side note: I received a new calling in our ward - Personal Progress Leader. I'm excited, but also have no idea how to go about it, so if anyone has done it or has any ideas, please give advice! Thanks!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would never know that Covey and Jackson are only about a month apart. I can't believe he is doing all that stuff, how fun! It just goes to show you that every baby is different. What a cutie!

Oh, isn't it funny how they like things you would never even think of, like "Fort Covey". He will do that to you a lot, get interested in something you would never think could hold his interest. I love that about kids, they keep you guessing:)

First of all I love that font in the movie...where did you get it from?
Now to the important stuff....I cannot believe he can drink out of a sippy...is he really getting that big? Watching all your videos really makes me miss that age where they depend on you so much...not that sometimes I don't like the independence...but the baby stage is soo much fun! Glad to see he likes Phineas and Ferb...Mitchell would watch that for hours with him! I love when you post the videos...it makes me miss him so much tough...he is so darn cute! Love that Covey! Thanks guys for keeping us updated...I know I could learn a thing or two from you guys, you are wonderful parents!

What to comment on? So much good stuff. I liked it when he gave in to the power of the tv. I also liked the mamamama. That was pretty funny. Give both Covey and Thomas a pat on the head for me for the excellent performances. Maybe give Covey two, he did a lot more.

Hooray! I am so excited to have you in YW!!! It sounds like you didn't turn it down, which we are totally thrilled about. :) Valerie Faldmo, the Young Women president, will be a huge help with this calling, since she's been in Young Women for like ... I don't know, six years or something. We're all here to help and give ideas. Don't stress, it will be great, and I just know the girls will love you!

WOW, he is already pulling himself up to things? He will be walking before you know it. His hair is getting so light! That is amazing he can hold his sippy cup already, I don't know what it is about my kids, it's like their arms are broken when it comes to eating and drinking :o). I think it is all a scam they are trying to pull on us! Cute, cute boy!

So cute, but I can't beleive you went behind my back and got him a personal trainer. I think he's ready for my spin class. Kaitlin and Brock enjoyed cheering him on during the crawling part. He's getting so big!! I'm glad you seem to be savoring every bit of it. You will be an awesome personal progress leader. You'll get it going Julia style. That will be super fun for ya.

cute pics. I was PP leader in a spanish branch. It was hard. Girls had to pretty much be bribed to do it. So I started having little interviews (sort of ppi for yw) it helped them get one on one attention and actual goals made... good luck!
