Milestone

8 months today!!! Way to go buddy. 

Your smile lights up our life and your big blue eyes are an unstoppable duo. You still prefer to crawl army style, but at least now you will sit up on your knees. That cute tongue out the side of your mouth quirk is still going strong and we love it. You've started to stand more and more, and you get more sure-footed everyday. Mom gets upset when you won't fall asleep for her, but you will for Dad. You say "daaa, daaa" and gibber gabber all day, which just cracks us up. You're still enamored with Covey, despite his repeated (although unintentional) attempts to injure you. You love to be tickled. You like to play peek-a-boo with the curtains just like Covey did. You have a sensitive pallet. Every time you try a new food you gag and do this full body shiver, and yet you keep on eating...usually. You chew on everything and will get upset when we don't let you. We're still waiting for that hair of your's to come in, but slowly and surely it grows. You still don't sleep through the night, but are such a good tempered boy during the day we won't complain. You get upset when one of us leaves the room and you'll come crawling after us if we won't come back. You've got a death-grip when you get those fingers locked around anything (ie: mom's hair, dad's beard, Covey's toys). Last of all, you're growing up just too darn fast little man, and we'd really appreciate it if you'd slow down and let us enjoy you!
