The Circus and other September Outings

The circus with Grandma Lori and Aunt Katie:

Trying on the costumes before the show.
Covey spotted an "EIGHT!" hanging from the ceiling. They were trapeze rings. We think he is so clever!
Grandma Lori's one good eye.
Aunt Katie celebrating a Chicken Fight win.
The circus was pretty darn fun. My favorites were the baby elephant and the 7 motorcylces driving inside a dome cage (that was a lot more exciting than I would've thought).

The Pumpkin Patch

Covington was the star at a photo gallery open house. He's kind of a big deal now.
The studio was in this historic pioneer house on 24th street in Ogden. Covey spent quite a bit of time in this old fashioned bathroom, which was a relief from keeping him out of trouble.

One morning Matt didn't have to be into work until 2:00 so we decided to let Covey check out Temple Square.
His first ride on Trax. He loved it. When we got off he used his sad voice to say "Back. Baaaack." to the Choo Choo.
It was so cool to see the rooms in the temple in this replica.

Look how buff and brown Matt looks! Woowoot.

That's all for now. Thanks for checking in with us!

Two things to say regarding Covey's clothing choices. 1-Awesome Cubs shirt. 2-He has to be a little more careful with what he wears to a pumpkin patch. Some little old lady (like mom) could have mistaken him for a very adorably disfigured pumpkin and ran off with him. I have been waiting for a good opportunity to comment on Matt's brownness and buffness. He is. Thanks for opening that door.
